Job Duties: Get involved with applications/projects at an early stage, to provide feedback from a quality perspective. Stay involved throughout the lifecycle of the application/project, from a quality standpoint. Be an advocate for quality in the projects involved with. Understanding requirements, prioritizing requirements, creating test plans (for smoke/regression/functional/acceptance testing), writing test cases, automating those test cases, reviewing test execution results, and reporting on quality of applications/projects. Ensuring that all tests (manual / automated) provide reliable feedback and ensure that they keep up with changes in the application. Researching and evaluating current automation testing tools and recommending new tools as necessary. Help identifying gaps in testing and improve the quality of applications. Performance measurement/testing, identifying bottlenecks and working with dev teams to resolve those issues and verifying that the fixes resolve the issues reported and do not cause regressions. Participate in peer reviews of test code. Using a data-driven approach, create automated tests using Apex, SOQL, backend services/APIs and the User Interface, designing and owning the automation suite for Salesforce. In addition, partner with the teams to contribute to architecture and various development environment documentation as needed. Collaborate and communicate technical details effectively with DevOps, Developers, BAs, Product Owners to get accurate technical and business requirements for every story.
This position requires a master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Technology Management.
